Grand Reopening Celebration: Neptune Pool at Hearst Castle
Sunset Soirée & Swim ~ Sunday, October 21, 2018
What better way to celebrate the grand reopening of the nearly 90-year-old Julia Morgan-designed pool than to invite guests for a lavish ocean-view cocktail party and a coveted swim!
A ticket to this once-in-a-lifetime event helps to continue vital preservation efforts, ensuring Hearst Castle remains a world-class monument and museum that inspires the next generation of architects, engineers, artists, and dreamers.
Celebrate in Style
Begin with a ride up the iconic road leading to the Enchanted Hill to witness the official reopening of Hearst Castle’s Neptune Pool. Guests may opt for a 45 minute viewing of the digitally-remastered film, “Building the Dream,” in Hearst Castle’s five-story IMAX theatre first.
Join California state dignitaries and celebrities strolling spectacular surrounding terraces while relishing in a fabulous selection of hors d’oeuvres, hand-crafted cocktails, and the Central Coast’s finest wines.
Following a toast, savor the awe-inspiring setting on this special occasion, featuring Jazz to Big Band music, and a unique entertainment finale performed right in the Neptune Pool as the sun sets into the Pacific Ocean.
Take the Plunge
For guests who have dreamed of diving into the iconic pool once appreciated by the likes of Cary Grant, Joan Crawford, Howard Hughes, and even Lady Gaga–this is your chance. Rarely open to the public, the grand reopening soirée allows VIP ticket-holders to jump into California’s most-exclusive pool party.
As the opening ceremony comes to an end, only 50 guests will head to historic changing rooms located off the Neptune terrace to prepare to be one of the first individuals to swim in the iconic and newly-refurbished Neptune Pool at Hearst Castle.
Swimmers might imbibe beverages ranging from hot chocolate to cognac while servers pass a bounty of flavorful foods and rich desserts. Once satiated, a limousine bus will escort guests down the hill with memories of a lifetime.
Save Your Space
This exclusive event is limited to 250 guests total, with only 50 to swim. Prices will increase after October 1st. Tickets will sell out.
Your tax deductible purchase allows for continued conservation and restoration of Hearst Castle and its renowned artwork and gardens, while also educating and inspiring future generations.
