Festivals are a big deal in Paso Robles! Great weather, gorgeous scenery, outrageous wine and cuisine plus a delightful downtown scene all add to the festive fun and camaraderie of Paso’s many Spring and Summer events. Take a look to see what we’re talking about!
Hospice du Rhône – April 14 - 16
Hit the Rhône and attend the latest installment of the largest gathering of Rhône wines in Paso. A not-to-be-missed international event, Hospice du Rhône is a celebratory weekend filled with tastings, food and seminars attracting more than 1,200 Rhône lovers from around the world including producers, importers, restaurateurs, sommeliers and enthusiasts.
Earth Day Food & Wine Festival – April 23
Tucked away under the oaks at Castoro cellars, the Earth Day Food & Wine main event is an exceptional food and wine experience with a casual vibe that celebrates the sustainable food movement. Don’t miss this culinary experience of the season as you spend the day with passionate people and enjoy delicious, sustainable fare created by chefs, farmers and winemakers.
34th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival – May 19 - 22
Kicking off with a selection of winemaker dinners, the special Reserve event and an educational winemaker seminar, the Paso Robles Wine Festival is a true celebration of Paso’s winemaking innovation and personality. On Saturday, May 21, the Grand Tasting event gathers more than 80 wineries in the Paso Robles Downtown City Park to showcase their wines. Live music makes the experience complete and picnic lunches are available by pre-order. Continue the celebration as you explore the more than 140 winery events scheduled throughout the weekend.
Paso ARTSFEST – May 28-29
Celebrate the arts this Memorial Day Weekend with Paso ARTSFEST in Paso’s downtown City Park. Enjoy a culture-filled weekend admiring the works of local and national artists with a Quick-Draw, and the Outdoor Fine Art Show and Sale. There will be live music, dance performances, food trucks and other surprises sure to delight visitors of all ages. Admission is FREE!
13th Annual Olive Festival – June 3 - 4
Hold on to your olives! The 13th Annual Olive Festival is a free and fun Paso event that’s a full day of festivities and education on June 4. Celebrating the olive industry, this much anticipated event takes place in the Downtown City Park and features a cooking competition, cooking demos, vendors offering free samples, educational seminars, wine and beer tasting, a culinary row, live entertainment and so much more. Kids will love the special children’s entertainment center at the playground. Check out the pre-festival social mixer on June 3, featuring local wines, an olive-tasting bar and olive-inspired samples, and a chance to meet local producers.
8th Annual Lavender Festival – July 9
A sea of fragrant purple will take over Paso’s Downtown City Park during the 8th Annual Lavender Festival this summer. Lavender producers from all over the region will set up shop to showcase the powerful herb’s many uses and visitors can enjoy a free lavender samples, food, refreshments and much more.
California Mid-State Fair – July 20-31
After opening in 1946, the fair has been a huge draw for people exploring the Central Coast. Held annually since its inaugural year, the California Mid-State Fair has hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry. This year’s lineup includes Duran Duran, Fall Out Boy, Tim McGraw and more. In addition to concerts, the fair offers specialty events, carnival rides, an artisan festival and much more.
