It’s Easy to be Electric in Paso
Wednesday, April 15, 2015
As the number of tasting rooms and restaurants in Paso Robles continues to soar, so does the number of businesses committed to implementing green technology. Some of the most notable changes over the past few years include the addition of Tesla charging stations at a variety of locations throughout Paso. With this in mind, eco-friendly travelers have more reasons than ever to choose Paso Robles as their destination for an Earth Day vacation.

Family-owned for more than 50 years, the Adelaide Inn focuses on providing a relaxed atmosphere and friendly hospitality. In an effort to meet every traveler’s needs, the property is home to both a Tesla charger and a generic electric car charger, perfect for green-minded guests.

Alta Colina Winery
Alta Colina, located on the beautifully rustic Adelaida Road, was recently completed in November 2014. When the Tillman family built Alta Colina’s state-of-the-art production facility and tasting room, they placed significant emphasis on incorporating green technology. With two Tesla Electric Vehicle charging stations, the property is a great destination for environmentally-minded visitors and less than 5 miles from downtown Paso Robles.
BEST WESTERN PLUS Black Oak
With its affordable rates and proximity to numerous attractions, the BEST WESTERN PLUS Black Oak is a popular lodging choice for families and travelers. The onsite Tesla charging station, available for registered guests or pass-through guests, makes it even more convenient for Tesla owners to zip around the gorgeous Paso Robles area.
The Oaks Hotel Paso Robles
In support of the green energy movement, The Oaks Hotel recently installed six SemaConnect Electric Vehicle Chargers. The property, with its boutique design and modern finishes, is a great choice for travelers with eco-friendly vehicles. Guests can use these stations completely free of charge while non-guests may use them for a small fee of $15.
Whether a Tesla owner yourself or simply interested in supporting environmentally-minded businesses, Paso will not disappoint. For more information about Earth Day events or Tesla charging stations in Paso Robles, visit TravelPaso.com.
